In all,189 Central New York students were inducted into the OCM BOCES chapter of the National Technical Honor Society, an honor that represents hard work, character and academic success in a variety of programs that teach specialized, hands-on skills to prepare students for college or careers. To qualify, students must have an 85 grade-point average or higher, 12 or fewer absences, and a teacher recommendation. Students also must demonstrate attributes that include respect, honesty, skill, responsibility, leadership, service and citizenship.
